Missi Falls Control Structure
The Missi Falls Control Structure is a key part of the Churchill River Diversion of the Nelson River Hydroelectric Project. Water is redirected from the Churchill River to the Nelson River, flowing through the Rat River and the Burntwood River on the way. The water of Southern Indian Lake was raised 3 meters to achieve this.
