Project Team

Bob H. Reinhardt
Project Director; Associate Professor in Department of History and School of the Environment.
Bob has been dreaming about an “atlas of drowned towns” for nearly two decades, for both personal and professional reasons: he began exploring the topic as an MA student at University of Oregon, and he married into a family from one such community (Detroit, Oregon).

Tim Griffith
Graduate Research Assistant
Tim is a first-year student in Boise State University’s Master of Arts in History program. He is also a fiction writer, with stories published in print and online, and in recent years he has taught fiction writing and college composition at BSU. He holds a firm belief in the power of landscape and place-based memory, so he is excited to learn from the Atlas of Drowned Towns as he helps to advance its objectives however he can.

Wren Goblirsch
Graduate Research Assistant
Wren is a master’s student in the BSU Department of History with a background in archival science, nonfiction writing, and community outreach. Wren is excited to approach their work with The Atlas of Drowned Towns through a social history lens, and to help convey a sense of what everyday life was like in inundated communities prior to displacement. As a newcomer to Boise, Wren enjoys taking in nature and history along the Greenbelt, especially when their dog is in tow.

Ennea Fairchild-Grant
Project Manager
Ennea joined the Atlas of Drowned Towns team in 2026. Ennea has a background in the social sciences, holding a Ph.D. in Environmental Sociology from Utah State University. Prior to taking on the role of Research Project Manager at Boise State University, Ennea worked as a social scientist for Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. At PNNL, Ennea conducted primarily qualitative research on a variety of intersecting social and energy issues.
