Dauphin River First Nation, Canada
Dauphin River First Nation (Ojibwe: Isickachewanoong) was displaced by the Government of Manitoba, which intentionally released water from the Assiniboine River during an historic 2011 flood event. The vast majority of the First Nation was displaced, and members are still fighting for adequate compensation.
