Chemawawin, Canada

Chemawawin was the traditional homeland of the Chemawawin Cree Nation. The entire nation was displaced and resettled to Easterville due to Grand Rapids Dam. The Chemawawin Cree Nation's burial grounds were also submerged. (Pictured: a monument memorializing the ancestors whose remains were covered by the reservoir.)
