Displaced by San Luis Dam, California

San Luis Dam inundated the Rancho de San Luis Gonzaga, shown here in 1962. Ranch owner Paula Fatjo attempted to move the old adobe farmhouse shortly after this photograph was taken, but the building partially collapsed during transport.
