Displaced by Castaic Dam, California
Cordova Ranch House circa 1886. Cordova was one of the ranches displaced by Castaic Dam. In the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, the Castaic area--including much of the land now submerged by Castaic Lake--was the site of the Jenkins-Chormicle Feud, the longest-lasting range war in California history.
