Lugert, Oklahoma

Lugert School, 1941. Lugert was hit by a tornado in 1912, destroying almost all of the town's business buildings and killing three residents. While much of the town was rebuilt, the population dwindled. Lake Altus-Lugert displaced the remaining residents in the 1940s.
