Displaced by the Sơn La Dam
The Sơn La Dam displaced more than 91,000 people. This was the largest development-induced displacement in Vietnam's history. Most of those displaced were ethnic minorities in Vietnam, primarily from Thai, La Ha, and Kinh communities.
