Like-A-Fishhook Village, North Dakota
Hidatsa historian Martin Bear's Arm's pictographic chart of Like-a-Fishhook Village. Like-a-Fishhook was the last earthlodge village founded in North Dakota, and was home to Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara residents. The village was largely abandoned by 1889, and Garrison Dam submerged the town site in 1953.
