- Last Old Home Day Parade 1956Residents of Cannonsville and the surrounding villages gathered on July 4, 1956 for a "Last Old Home Day" before the valley was emptied. The celebration included a parade where children wore costumes representing the history and future of their home: some dressed as farmers, others as the area's native Lenape people, dispossessed in the eighteenth century, and others as fish--the future residents.Kelly Studio, Deposit, New York · Delaware County Historical Association
