Butler, Tennessee
After the Tennessee Valley Authority purchased Butler's city infrastructure in 1947, a resident joked that the "next mayor ... will be a catfish." In the end, the town was relocated to higher ground. The photograph on the left shows a street in Old Butler, the one on the right shows a house on the move from Old to New Butler.
